iBasis Inc., a provider of international long-distance, VoIP and prepaid calling cards, today introduced PremiumCertified, a service designed to deliver the high-quality termination of international phone calls.
PremiumCertified is available on a wholesale basis to traditional TDM carriers, mobile service providers and providers of voice over broadband services. It provides call termination to more than 500 international destinations. The routes are monitored in real time and managed by iBasis to achieve performance within 5 percent of the company’s retail quality index.
The Massachusetts-based company says more than half of the world's mobile subscribers can be reached via PremiumCertified routes to the Americas, Western Europe and Asia.
iBasis uses PremiumCertified to provision its own retail services.
